Its been my first big bike having spent a few years on a 250 Ninja, it has been a great step up and has plenty of power, I would of got its successor if it had not been completely gutted in the engine department (The 650F produces about 20 less bhp). The positioning is more forgiving than a full on super sports bike but still allows you to tuck in nicely and really enjoy the twisties to the fullest. Ive changed the oil and filter 4 times in its relatively short mileage as I probably get round to servicing it more then riding it, its had a new battery last year and the Bridgestone tyres on it have less then 500 miles on and where also fitted last year.
