This is my Honda CBR600FV for sale. It is a 1997 bike, but one of the last F3 carburettor models. I bought it in 2012 as a CAT D bike due to probable attempted theft and vandalism. Consequently, i replaced some damage panels and had the bike professionally repainted. The mileage on the clocks is inaccurate, i had to change the clock set as part of the vandalism repairs. The clocks show about 16700 miles, but the damaged clocks i removed showed around 22960. I have put approximately 3100 miles on the bike, so the real mileage is around 26000 as shown above. The repairs were largely cosmetic and the bike is in great condition. 1 key fits all locks and ignition etc. In addition to repainting it, i have added some useful changes to enhance the ride.. I have fitted a pair of forks with Ohlins spring internals and fresh oil. I have fitted an Ohlins remote resevoir to the rear. This has been completely stripped, serviced and rebuilt by Mick Gardner racing at Barnsley within the last couple of weeks. I have the original shock if its of interest. I have added a K&N air filter and a Dynojet kit to the carbs. The front brake calipers have been stripped and rebuilt and fitted with HH pads. There are HEL steel braided lines to front and rear brakes. I have fitted Metzeler racetec tyres (exactly same as Diablo super corsas). The bike goes, stops and handles superbly, its comfy too! The original exhaust system is still in place. I fitted a new clutch around 2000 miles ago. The engine has had a recent service (500 miles ago) so all consumables are fresh. Its had a recent chain and sprockets at the same time. It was MOT’d last week and passed with no advisories. I have other bikes and this is just not getting used. I would prefer the balance in cash on collection. Please note that the bike will not be going anywhere until all funds received are cleared in my bank.
