CBR 600 F2 in Benetton Colours. Very rare and desirable. This is a lovely looking and rare colour scheme. The bike is is pretty good condition for its age, it will need some work to get back on the road but I wont break it for parts. It always gets some very approving looks and is a crowd puller when it goes somewhere. I’ve kept the battery inside and every few months I’ve started the bike, she starts straight away and the engine runs fine. There is no smoke from the exhaust and the oil is as clear as it was when it was new last year. I have a short ride to work now so it’s not worth her sitting there not being used so she is now for sale. Good bits in 2018. New oil, oil filter, spark plugs and coolant. 2017 the bike had. New fork seals and oil, new chain, new oil and filter, front brake pads and fluid, speedo cable, new battery. Maxton racing fork springs and spacers. Bike handles extremely well. She’s no spring chicken, at 27 years old she has some scratches, rusty bits, fairing bolts missing, cracks, scuffs etc. I did start a refurb job on her but only got so far. The front tyre wont hold air and it slowly leaks out so she needs another tyre. I’ve always used race scrubs and never had this issue before. The front mudguard runs close to the wheel and gets hot. It just wants re-seating but I’ve never got round to it. The throttle is sticky, I used to ride it without issue but for an mot it needs sorting. Normally its just the cable rubbing and I’ve had the same issue before, I just don’t have time to fix it. The screen has a corner missing and there is a bit of paint off one side where I rode off with the disk lock on. On the last MOT certificate the rear disc was listed as marks which could have been cracks. I have a disc to replace it that will come with the bike. The exhaust was also put down as noisy, which it is but, it’s not illegal otherwise it wouldn’t have passed. I also have a set of spare wheels, front brake discs and a whole other set of fairings, please ask for prices and picture.
