Please read entire description. For sale Honda cbr600f f2 1994. I bought the bike a year and half ago from a guy whod bought it from someone who had it stored in a barn for some time. He had started restoring it and had it stripped down, the frame painted, made sure the engine was in good condition with carrying out tasks like stripping and resealing the oil cooler and fitting new manifold studs, he also powder coated the wheels and started to rebuild the bike re greasing everything along the way. The foot pedals are powder coated black with new rubbers, the pillion pegs are also powder coated. The owner fit a new chain 2 new tyres and a carbon fibre hugger. He then had to sell the bike half done due to health issues which is when i bought it. I finished the mechanical side of the build, fit new front braided brake hoses and a master cylinder seal kit and new front brake pads. Im pretty sure i fitted a new rear brake light switch also. Also fitted is a double bubble screen and domino grips. Naturally the bike had fresh coolant and oil in the process. The bike comes with 12months mot, but is currently sorn. The bikes runs and rides well i think ive only done about 500mile on it since putting it back on the road so its still got a pretty low mileage of 33,750miles. The remaining thing to do on this bike is the fairing, pretty sure theyre original, and therefore brittle and in poor condition. There is a spare set of rear and side fairings excluding the front headlight cowl that will go with the bike along with a rear paddock stand. Theres also a bag of other random spares imcluded. The reason for sale is its just not my type of bike, i dont ride fast, i probably havent had this bike over 8000rpm so i dont really enjoy riding it and now im after a berlingo van its time to sell it (hint). If you want a cheap bike thats ready to ride and enjoy through all of the upcoming summer, which you could then fit new fairings to in winter and have a bike worth more next year then this bike could be for you.
