As above, I have had the bike running, up to temperature with no problems with a temporary gravity fed supply. I have changed the entire fuel system, including new fuel pump points. The bike will not run with the fuel tank on. New fuel lines (including filter). Carbs professionally cleaned and set up. New chain and sprockets. Tyres and brakes all in good order. General condition of the bike, good. I have removed the tank and the airbox to try and diagnose the starting issue.
