Listed above is my dad’s beloved classic Honda CBR600 F, which he’s looked after like a baby kitten for the last 21 years. As it’s racing pedigree would suggest, it goes like stink and sounds pant-wettingly good. This thing has a better quality of life than I do, kept pampered in a cosy garage – I doubt it’s ever seen a drop of rain! He’s getting on a bit now and can’t ride a sports bike anymore due to his arthritis, otherwise I’m pretty sure he’d be buried with it! You’ll see loads of CBR600’s about from this era (one the first of the 100+ bhp models, I believe) but you won’t find any as spotless as this one. Apart from a few of the expected scratches and stone-chips on the extremities (all in the photos) it’s absolutely immaculate. He’s really taken care of it, and never had it near a track.
