Yup, fitness first for me as I look to take on a charity challenge. I didn’t use the bike for 4 years. It was kept garaged, regularly given a run out and serviced. I passed my test two years ago and have used and lived it since. I wish I’d passed sooner! Last summer I gave it a full service (changed plugs, oil, brake fluid, air filter, oil filter). I also added a new pair of Pirelli Diablo Strada tyres and a new screen. I also replaced the cam chain tensioner and regulator/rectifier – two parts prone to giving up on this model. As well as this I replaced the battery. I have receipts for all. The bike is a Spanish import. The dails are in KMH but ive added mph stickers to the speedo. The bodywork looks pretty good in photos but some parts of the fairing are cracked. I’ve had them plastic wielded to hold together which has worked but they are by no means un-noticeable! Don’t forget, this bike is 20+ years old and has covered 46,000 miles so it is not perfect. Wether you’re after a’future classic’ project, a first bike or a winter hack, I can’t reccommend this bike enough. It’s used, it runs great, it’s responsive and fast yet comfortable and easy to ride and sounds lovely. The mot had two advisories. The exhaust is a bit loud! And the rear wheel bearings had some play. I’ve replaced the wheel bearings. The only thing that needs attention is the right indicator wiring. Sometimes the indicator flashes quickly, sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve also included two entry level paddock stands, an Oxford waterproof cover, an Oxford battery charger, a rock solid bike chain (no padlock) a Haynes service and repair manual, a Honda service repair manual, a bag of spare fairing bolts, 1ltr or oil and a bottle of DOT 4 brake fluid. Also inc are the old screen and exhaust. Please please, ask as many questions as you want. By all means arrange a viewing and test ride. I’ve tried to be as honest as I can.
