This is a 1987 CBR600 F that I bought a year ago with the intention of the girlfriend having it as her first real bike but since riding it I think its a bit too much of a beast for that. The previous owner did manage to paint the tank and panels and shouldn’t of bothered. In fact I bought a scratched tank in original livery as a marked improvement. It does come with the original tank that despite poor paintwork is solid and leak free. Since then the wiring has been sorted the regulator and generator have been replaced and another set of carbs sourced as the old ones were beyond repair. She now starts on the button and although would benefit from a tune/fettle runs very sweet. It passed an MOT on 14/05/18 with no advisories so is good to go till the middle of next May. Having only accomplished five hundred miles in eleven years and showing only 34k this bike has been undercover for too long and although the odd test rides have been great fun I cant warrant keeping it myself. Remember it one of ten. If you really dont know the early CBR’s then do a search as they were the most ridable of the track/road bikes and a sheer pleasure to ride. I really have to remind myself its only a 600cc when she flies with such ease. The bike comes with a handful of spares including a Haynes manual , pair of mirrors as the surround is broken on the off side one on the bike.
