I bought the bike last year and did around 3,000 miles on it, all of which put a huge smile on my face. I bought it from a reputable dealer who carried out lots of work to it before delivering it namely, new. Front brake discs/pads, rear pads, fuel pump, oil & filter, coolant, fuel lines, manifold gaskets, battery, fork/dust seals. I replaced the regulator/rectifier a couple of months later. Mechanically the bike is in great shape and goes really well. The next service isn’t due for another 3,000 miles and the tyres are in good condition with plenty of tread left. MOT until May 2020. Cosmetically, there are some marks on the fairing as would be expected on a bike of this age. The right side in particular has some scratches along the main section of fairing but have never bothered me – see pics. Performance wise the bike is a huge amount of fun to ride and has plenty of power. This bike is well known for being a superb all rounder and as such copes admirably at commuting, sunday blasts, touring and even track days if you want to. Bike has lots of paperwork including stamped service book, original owners manual, stack of receipts and old mots. I keep the battery on a trickle charger when not using it and I’ve filled the tank so the new owner is good to go from the off. I keep it on paddock stands when not in use and Ill give these away with the bike. Reason for sale: I’ve just bought a maxi scooter for my partner and I to share and as a result I reluctantly no longer have room for the CBR long term.
