Hi up for sale is my 1992 Honda CBR600F. This my ride to the 2020 isle man TT that clearly that isnt happening now. Frame and engine numbers all in tact with V5 and all MOTs to back up current mileage and a few service receipts from previous owner. It starts, rides and stops ish. The front discs and pads are ready for replacement in my opinion…… But Im used to racing bikes on the track so its personal preference. The CBR600F models are some of the most well sorted all round bikes ever made in my opinion, and I have raced these bikes in the steel frame class with no mechanical failures what so ever. PLEASE CHECKOUT MY PICTURES…….. As you can see there is some minor scuff damage on the right hand side. The rear mud guard has been cut down for some unknown reason, and some small cracks are evident. I have put it through the MOT test and its passed, unfortunately the previous owner decided to spray the rear swing arm, and it looks like my 16 month old son has done it……. I have cleaned it up the best I can, its not to bad now. Just being honest thats all, this is a 28 year old bike, now becoming a classic so dont expect everything to be mint mint. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS……… The wheels are straight with good looking paint. The discs are showing a bit of wear but consistent with the displayed mileage of 42812 but both brakes work. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Tail light assy is good as is the headlight. Instruments look great and bright. All the switch gear works. The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is generally bright, fuel tank is squeaky clean inside. The seat looks to be in good condition throughout. Chain guard is tidy. The exhaust sounds good. The engine is cosmetically clean now I have fully stripped all fairings of. The bike starts and runs on the button no smoke or rattles. Oxford heated grips work all in all 3 heating settings. I have serviced this bike to a very high standard with every nut and bolt checked and torqued to the correct setting. Its had new oil and filter and air filter new chain and sprockets and spark plugs…… They didnt need replacement but did it anyway. Ive ridden the bike for 50 miles today with no issues. The mileage will go up slightly as may use a little now we have some freedom. Feel free to come and view the bike with social distancing rules in place.
