Intention to run it myself as a second bike….. Subsequently i bought a vfr 750, i rebuilt it ahead of the cbr600…… And i love it!! But i hate doing that… Waste of a good bike! So i decided to rebuild it….. Stripped it down to bare frame as with all the 600 “steelies” it was showing signs of rust…… I shot blasted the frame and repainted it in two pack base coat and laquer!! …. Fork yokes repainted, bearings packed with fresh grease, swing arm removed shot blasted and painted. Bearings to it and linkage all clean and regreased, new front mudguard bought and again repainted…. The engine ran fine so other than cleaning it and changing oil and filter and air filter… Plugs were fine it was put back into the frame, panels were repaired/replaced repainted just to make the bike tidy and presentable….. I have spent many many hours on this little Honda and the end result is as you see in the pics….. Very clean tidy bike….. And i’m not asking a lot, will make an excellent winter work bike or just a good little 600 in its own right… Any questions or inspection more than welcome but no thrashing it up the road… I guess it all comes down to bangs for your bucks…..
