Hi and thanks for looking at my listing. I have for sale here a 1988 Honda CBR600F, also known as the Hurricane model, or jelly mould, registered in 1991, declared manufactured in 1988, on an F plate Registration. This is a low mileage example, currently showing 21,000miles. This does require a little work to get through an MOT, but not a lot. I was asked to take this on and recommission for the owner, but that plan has now changed, and needs to be found a new home. I have other things to be getting on with so can’t keep around. These are getting harder to find in one piece these says. The engine starts real easy, and is quiet as a mouse, no knocks, or clunks, or rattles. Just a nice Honda whir. The way it should be. This has had a respray at some point in recent years, and been given a later style Honda Paint Scheme. Few marks here and there, as expected with age. It has had a new set of stainless steel down pipes fitted in the last couple of years, and I’ve just fitted a new battery. The tank is nice and solid, not internal rust like most, wheels have also been painted recently. Mirrors, levers and indicators aren’t original, not my taste, but each to their own. It starts and runs on the choke great, in fact better than any carb bike I’ve ever worked on! Will need new tyres, but all electrics work perfectly, horn is LOUD. This is not currently MOT’d, but have ridden around the block as it we’re, brakes all work, nothing seized, gearbox shifts nice and clean, and she’s really comfy too! Seat is immaculate, no tears or rips. All clocks, rev counter speedo and idiot lights work as designed. I have the V5 and two keys, which works in the tank too. Would require van or trailer.
