Removed from the very well maintained 2001’Y’ reg Honda CBR 600 F4I shown. The bike had an indicated 52118 Kms on the clock, and was running well prior to dismantling (the actual bike is shown, and a short video of the bike running can be viewed below)………. This damper is in very good condition and comes with the Harris fitting bracket as shown. The damping is easily changed with the knurled knob and the changes are easily felt in resistance of the unit. The rod itself is in very good condition with no leakage. The mounts on the bracket are 50mm centre to centre and bolt to the front tank position (see pics). A brief summary of the actual donor bike. The bike was bought privately. The bike had been owned by the previous owner since new (ie for the last 20 years). Originally an’import’ model (Netherlands I believe ; frame number JH2PC35E91M206771). The owner used the bike on a regular basis, and it was very well cared for. The owner did have an accident in 2006 and the bike was a Cat D write-off. A major service was carried out in 2019.
