What You Get: 1 x DID 520 Pitch ZVMX gold X-Ring chain 1 x JT 520 Pitch steel front sprocket (-1 tooth size) 1 x JT 520 Pitch steel rear sprocket (+1 tooth size) 1 x DID ZVMX joining link. 1T / +1T Sprockets The sprocket sizes in this kit are 1 tooth smaller than standard on the front sprocket and 1 tooth larger than standard on the rear sprocket. This gives a significant increase in bottom end and mid-range acceleration, with greatly improved throttle response. Because the overall sprocket tooth count remains the same as standard, so does the wheelbase and chain length. Fitting this kit will lower the potential top speed of the bike slightly, but not hugely. It will also cause the speedometer to read slightly high, so when it says you’re doing 30mph, you will actually be doing approx 27-28mph (this will vary slightly depending on the bike); there are various speedometer correction devices available if you wish to adjust this. On some bikes this kit may accelerate wear on the rubber chain slipper. 520 Pitch Conversion This kit is a 520 pitch conversion, it is not the standard original pitch size for this bike. 520 pitch conversions are very popular for racing and track days.
