Honda CBR600F I’m a 59 year old retiring biker, sad to see my last bikes go – having collected classic Japanese bikes for many years. This is a good example of the CBR600F “Steelie”. I don’t want to have to garage this bike for the winter and then finish it off and MOT it next spring. I’ve spent hundreds to get it to this stage though right now, with no MOT, it’s a bargain. And you can ride it away. Good points: VERY LOW MILEAGE. Only 28615 miles (supported by previous MOT’s). Expensive Titanium exhaust system fitted. Sounds really “throaty” – but still legal. Goodridge braided brake hoses. Recent oil and filter change. New ignition switch/steering lock. New fuel tank locking cap. Good Continental tyre on front. Copies of all 12 MOT’s since 2004. Bad points: No current MOT (Expired 31st May 2016). Rear tyre is below the legal limit, BUT – brand new Pirelli Diablo Rosso will be supplied with the bike (anticipating this should be the only MOT fail point). Previously repaired LH upper fairing needs redoing (see photos). Fuel tank has no dents but has some pit marks on it (see photos). Prior to the theft it was much-loved and in perfect condition. The only work that needed doing was replacing fairing panels and locks, but that makes a classic bike like this “uneconomical to repair”. There was no frame/mechanical damage.
