As I have only managed a single evening track day at Cadwell Park this year, I have reluctantly decided its time to let go of my beloved Steelie which I have previously raced with Derby Phoenix, NG and Thundersport GB in the pre-injection classes. The bike has a V5 in my name and is currently on SORN. This is a very clean and sorted bike. Ported head with manual cam chain tensioner. Ignition advanced 4 degrees. Running total loss with F3 Inlet cam on exhaust side (higher lift and duration). Lightened flywheel and the scissor gear has been machined off the clutch basket (these have been known to break under race conditions). Full Micron Race exhaust system and HRC airbox mod. Currently’popping’ slightly at low revs so could probably benefit from a carb clean/balance. VTR1000 Firestorm front end (with damping mod and recent oil/seals), four pot Nissin brakes (refurbished by Powerhouse in Sheffield last year). SES clip-ons, fairing bracket and rear sets. Swing arm modified to accommodate tyre warmers when running 180 rear. Accossato radial front brake cylinder with lever guard, braded hoses. Recent 520 chain and Renthal sprockets. Proflex rear shock (recently serviced by Reactive Suspension). ACU Sharks Fin and fully locked wired. Koso rev counter, hard wired MyLaps X2 Transponder with subscription until March 2019, hard wired rain light. Wets on Wheels (with discs), some spare sprockets and a few extra bits and pieces (as per photo). I also have a complete (standard) spare engine (with ignition advancer, manual cam chain adjuster, lightened flywheel and modded clutch) which I will include if the full asking price is offered.
