Stock ratio if you ever need to with a 16t and same chain. It’s quicker for sure, but is only 500 rpm’s or so higher than stock in top gear cruising rpm’s. For EXTREME QUICK ACCELERATION 15/47t , EVEN MORE RADICAL QUICK RATIO (stunt gearing). Use a 15t front (-1t) and a 47t rear (+1t) NOTE; 47t and 48t ONLY available in. Note; your top gear cruising rpm’s will be really high, and your top speed significantly reduced. Original Factory Supplied OEM size sprockets are the calculated “Happy Medium” of off the line acceleration, roll on’s. And reasonable high speed engine rpm’s with the least amount of compromise on either top end or low end acceleration. Close to Stock size teeth 520 sprockets 0n 16/45t are available if you simply want lighter weight drive train components. But a similar to stock ratio. Near Stock is 16/45t. If you want EXACT stock 16/46t, it is only available in oem 525 size in JT Steel, or 520 size with Alloy rear sprocket. Both cost more than the default supplied sprockets that come with this kit. Teeth and Sizes Explained.. A -1t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +3t rear sprocket change. 1t rear combination is EXACTLY the same as a +2t rear only change with stock front sprocket. A 520 size chain is approx. Than a 525 chain, and 4mm. Than a 530 chain. Less mass equals lighter weight equals easier to spin, but the ratio (teeth size) change makes the big difference. The sprocket width matches the chain width where it rides on the sprockets, thus a 520 chain must use 520 sprockets. And a 525 chain must use 525 sprockets, etc..
